Grace Calhoun

Teaching Assistant

University Writing Program

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology studying the biomechanics of trabecular bone in living and extinct primates. I graduated from THE Ohio State University in 2019 (Go Gators though, of course!), with degrees in Physics, Astrophysics and Anthropological Sciences. In 2022, I earned my Masters in Anthropology here at UF. During my time as a graduate student here, I have taught courses in both the Anthropology and Astronomy departments. I also served as Lab Coordinator at C.A. Pound Human Identification Laboratory from 2024 and 2026, and I have tutored for the University Athletic Association since 2025. I am excited to now be a part of the teaching staff at the UWP!
