Teaching Assistant
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Florida. I earned my B.A. and M.A. from Seoul National University, where I majored in foreign language education. Korean is my first language (L1), English my second (L2), and Japanese my third (L3). As an enthusiastic language learner, I see language learning as tending a beautiful garden, something that requires consistent care and effort. I hope to make Spanish my fourth language, which is one of the reasons I am especially excited to be at UF.
My research interests include second language acquisition and corpus linguistics. In particular, I am interested in identifying developmental patterns in L2 learners through corpus-based and computational approaches.
