Alison Walsh is a PhD student in the English department with research interests in film, prestige television, critical theory, and contemporary American culture. Originally from North Carolina, she holds a BA in English & creative writing from Appalachian State University, as well as a Master of Library & Information Studies from UNC Greensboro. She had a career in university administration at UNC Charlotte before moving to Florida to pursue her doctoral studies. Alison loves the Gainesville landscape and is happy that you can find good barbecue here.
