Hilda Sheridan-Hewlett is a University of Florida English PhD student from London, England. Her primary scholarly interests are within the realm of Film Studies and popular media. Her MA thesis delved into the paradoxical intersection between women filmmakers, popular feminism and the manosphere (misogynistic communities online). Hilda plans to continue her research, while also leading complementary film productions. She hopes her creative and scholarly projects will continue to enrich one another because of her passion for bridging filmmaking and film scholarship in academic settings.
