Joel Wixson is a first-year PhD student in the School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE) and Geography departments. He is a former gator graduate (M.S. 2013) and enjoys exploring Florida with his wife and two kids. His research interests include using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to better understand Ecological processes, specifically aquatic habitat changes in ever-changing riverine environments.
