Matt is an archaeologist and PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology. His dissertation research focuses on submerged landscapes and the underwater archaeology of the southeastern United States. Matt's teaching assistant duties have traversed the subjects of archaeological field and laboratory methods, philosophy, literature, forensic science, the human dimensions of medicine, and capstone projects. He has also served as an instructor for Introduction to Anthropology. Matt is absolutely thrilled to be a teaching assistant for The Posthuman Condition, where he is able to delve into the fascinating topics including "imagined futures".
