Sergio Salazar Rodó is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics. His research interests include linguistic anthropology, phonetics, and phonology with a focus on the languages of Central America. Originally from San José, Costa Rica, he holds degrees in Anthropology, Linguistics, and Spanish from Florida State University.
Off-campus, he is a passionate rock climber who loves traveling and learning about the world and its cultures.
