As required by UF policy, the University Writing Program houses its syllabi on the program website: University Writing Program Syllabi. These standard syllabi contain the required policy statements on General Education, grading, attendance, outcomes, and plagiarism, in addition to the UF syllabus requirements.
Since most UWP courses have been certified by the university as conferring General Education credit, the major assignments must be taught, though adjustments can be made to the assignments to accommodate for thematic variation between sections.
Readings that serve as examples, daily activities, and minor assignments such as peer reviews and quizzes should be tailored to the needs of the individual section.
